Doesn't mean it's sane. If you feel you can't leave your own home without a very present threat of someone using lethal force against you, then either your grasp on reality is waning, or your society has some serious inadequacies with law enforcement. The fact that an individual would be subject to such a degree of paranoia makes them an even bigger threat to society (or themselves) than any realistic incidence of violent crime.

Why? I know he owns a Glock 19, why not just put that in a holster and look WAY more normal and casual, be way better armed, and carrying a far lighter and far less obstructive weapon?

If you're gonna open carry a long gun, do it with a gun which you could actually bet your life on, and preferrably carry it in a sling or a scabbard on your back.

For deranged mass shooter types, they're actually all cowards, they surrender or kill themselves as soon as they see armed opposition, and they only pick targets where they feel confident that they'll not meet any resistance, that's why they target places like schools.

Having someone draw in the lighting in the textures works so much better, you have so much better control of the shades, that when you have someone who knows what they're doing it's bound to look nice.

I've found one called Nether that's supposed to run at ~10FPS with dynamic lighting, but I can't get the converted .D64 file to run on any emulators.

Not entirely unusual on Amiga.
There could be some games which were multi computer games, and the Amiga version had the sexiest graphics, but the gameplay was still often extremely similar to the Commodore 64 or even ZX Spectrum versions.

Forgot the source:
https://youtu.be/sRO_FggTjc8

Initially I wanted to add more gameplay and not just the intro sequence and only view seconds of the rather shallow gameplay, but I already was beyond the limit of 2 min (that first WebM was 2:24).

Kinda weird, /vr/ is the only board where I have very often problems getting such WebMs uploaded that are over the limit. With most other boards it works pretty fine to just manipulate the resulting WebM only a bit (longest was around 43 min with 4MB and around 50 min with the new limit of 6MB). But in /vr/ I often get an error message "Your image contains an embedded file", despite that there is none. I usually have to trim a couple of seconds and then it works just fine. If I'm lucky (which hardly happens in /vr/) I even get the original length of around 2:30 min (you can't go much longer with just 3MB file size limit) uploaded without any error messages, other times I get said error message even with WebM's that are within the limit of 2:00 min, despite that I'm just using the default encoding method of just FFmpeg via command line without any intermediate tools that might add incompatibilities (currently more and more WebM's get uploaded on other boards that can't be seeked at all and exit with an error message of corrupt/faulty video if you try seeking them, which were created with such an dubious intermediate tool).

What is a "normal" wrestling game? I hope you don't talk about garbage like the WWE 2K games or that other trash made by Yuke's. Back then there was just more diversity in wrestling games then today with some aiming more towards simulation, others were rather arcade experiences and some were somewhere in-between. But there always were those overly simplified games by Yuke's and now sadly these are pretty much the only games left.

Zombies, but decorative zombies.
They kind of just are nailed to the wall and can't do anything, and you can't really do anything with them.

When you meet them in normal gameplay, where they aren't nailed to a wall, they're a lot more fun, they tear chunks off themselves and throw them at you, and you can't really kill them with normal guns, they get back up again, you need to use explosives or otherwise somehow do so much damage that their body blows up into chunks.

Wake of the Ravager might be the buggiest "complete" game of all freaking time. Doorways and staircases that disappeared, rendering the game unbeatable. NPCs that continued to talk and interact even after death and removal from the field. Quests with triggers that never activated. Quests that failed to give plot-relevant items half the time upon completion. Heavy graphical and sound glitches. A final boss (the Tarrasque, normally one of the most badass D&D monsters) with 1/10 the hit points it should have, but with skeleton minions that have 100 times as much HP. By keeping tons of extra save slots, I somehow managed to beat it to get the crappy ending I could've listened to by playing the game CD as an audio disc.

That game had no business being shipped out as it was, and even official patches (which were hard to find on mid-90s internet) were insufficient to fix it. A pity; I liked Shattered Lands a lot.
