The scene where Touji punches him, I would have ran away and cried like a bitch, Shinji stood there and endured the punch, vaguely changing his facial expression. He even muttered something to Touji, and received a 2nd punch like it's nothing. I would have not only apologized but also would be sobbing like a little bitch.

It has consistently great art and lots of little character moments which I greatly enjoyed. It also has my favourite ending. I'd say about 80% is nearly identical to the anime so it won't convert you if you're not already a fan.

As for the Collector's CD-ROMs, I still have not completed my J-Win98SE build since I cannot find someone to repair my CRT monitor. It is always on my mind that I promised I will rip the Collector's CD-ROM because one anon keeps asking nicely. However, I expect someone else to rip them first as I have a lot of financial issues to overcome before I finally get around to it.

As for GoS, I own a version that I think you don't have, the one that came with the Second Impact Box in 2001. It's for PC, but as opposed to the original CD-ROM 2 CDs release, this was a single DVD-ROM.
