Lads, what are THE Dreamcast games I need to play?

I never owned one, but I remember at the time playing Soul Edge at a friends and it blew my mind.

Did the DC have any worthwhile games at all?

Depends on what genres you want. Dreamcast has a good variety among most genres. Only genre I think it's lacking in is action/adventure stuff ala zelda, and platformers not called sonic. But especially for arcadey games and multiplayer, its god tier

The dreamcast had a lot of good games, is what I'm getting at.

Wow this thread's recommendations are a mess.

The Dreamcast has a small handful of great games across various genres and a consistent, unique aesthetic. It is similar to the Gamecube in this regard. But while the Gamecube was focused on first-party home multi-player games, the Dreamcast is primarily about arcade-style action games. Many of its more notable exclusives have been ported at this point, but many others haven't.
