Seems like the Pongbox would be aiming for a more "classic", arcade-inspired style of game, but the arbitrary exclusivity won't win any major support over. That's probably why they need exclusives, if these were on PSN or whatever the console would have no major appeal. Hopefully Tommy's lawsuit against Roblox will net him some Robux to fund games, Epic Games style.

It's also on the PS2. But the Dreamcast still has the best version of the game. It's still pretty unique and quite hard for a game from this generation. There was actually a sequel planned for the Dreamcast that used the same engine.

Tommy owns the Intellivision brand, and it's also him who spearheaded the new Earthworm Jim game for the Amico.

The thing I love about the 2 Genesis Ecco games is that it's possible to get really good at the controls. Some people complain about the 8-way movement and momentum, but with practice is becomes really satisfying to pull off quick turns with the right amount of speed swimming and slowing down.

I'd rather have no new Ecco than shitty new Ecco. And there's no way that a new one could come out in the original style because even in it's day it was too unforgiving for many players. A traditional Ecco 3 released now would tank even harder that that video.

yes the moody FM music fits the bleak storyline better, but i'm a bit biased because i played the SCD version years before i got the genesis versions, but yes both are great. just wish the game was a bit more fun to play

I think it's super fun, but of course everyone responds to different things and it's a weird game. I played the original first which is why I liked that music better, but I also went for the Genesis version of ToT though I had a Sega CD and both versions of the first. I did get the CD version eventually also though. Ecco is one of my favorite games.
