Is it worthwhile?

No, it isn't worth the effort to perform a reverse image search just because OP is too stupid to start a thread properly.

I would have liked to have picked up one of those so-called "1-Chip" MSXs when they came out like fifteen years ago but at this point of you're not going to get a Hit-Bit of other legit hardware you should probably just get a MiSTer

What's even the point then when most medium to high-end MSX2 models support Svideo and RGB/Scart output already and cost about the same? Plus its ugly, nothing will be as aesthetically pleasing as the HB-F1XD.

Good points, thanks.
Mostly just wishing there was more legit MSX hardware that wasn't old enough to have a mortgage and three kids in high shool

Looks decent for the price. I like that SCC+ & FM support is built in. Can you run ROM & disk images off the SD card or are you expected to have original carts? I prefer the look of the original machines like in >>5753661 but they're expensive and games even more so. I think something like the MiSTer might be a more sound option but I'm not sure where it is with MSX support.

Depends, if you use a bidding proxy for Yahoo Auctions you can usually get a unit way below the usual prices if you're diligent. I got this MSX HB-101 for under $25.

how do you use RGB scart with that?

Wait, people are still making Zemmix Neos? If they’re still in stock in about 2 weeks I might get one as a way to play MSX games from my living room.

To answer your question, it’s a “maybe”. It’s cheaper than most actually desirable MSX hardware and will last longer, but you’re still paying over $150 for a hardware clone. I’d definitely rather be playing on this than an actual MSX from a couch though.
