How's the emulation on the pandora 5s? I am running the pandora 6 and it's been running great.

I had grabbed it as a stopgap for a proper mame setup, and its psx emulation isnt bad for guilty gear and bushido blade. Some of those old psx games feel great with arcade controls.

Looks like fucking shit. Sitting comfy here with my Blast City running GroovyMame on Linux. Sanwa buttons and sticks.

Thanks for the advice, I just got it 2 weeks ago so I'm just fixing the electronics inside. Bit of Wd-40 and contact spray, and soldering wonky connections.

Pretty cool. I’m personally not down with emulation, but each his own. I just picked up this clean Ms. Pac. The G07 needs work and the board is fried, but it was such a clean cabinet I couldn’t pass it up. I’m probably gonna swap the guts and monitor from my other Ms. Pac while I work on the busted components.

For those interested, these are the machines I have at home. I have several more scattered about. Some at a friends bar to collect some coin to help pay for parts, some at a buddies place, and some at a warehouse. It’s an addictive hobby and has taught me boatloads about electronic repair. Pretty cool.

The original owner went with some horrible color choices for those buttons. It would not take much money or effort to unfuck it and go with some reasonable new buttons of a suitable color.

As for the cabinet itself it certainly isnt pretty but these were a regional thing. If that is what arcade machines looked like when you were a kid you could leave it alone.

Here's a video of a guy playing around with it on a small monitor that runs off 12v. A normal CRT has enough voltage to run through your body and burn you severely, stop your heart and/or physically rupture the tube as well.

Buy some nylon adjustment tools, basically hard nylon screwdrivers. You can use them to adjust the monitor while it's hot and you can see the results. Never stick a hand in there and never use metal screwdrivers, the magnetic field created by the flyback will cause it to heat up and possibly short something out. Hanatrex are kinda shit, they are getting hard to source parts for. WG is the way to go for monitors. Or just swap it for the new flat screen replacements. They look worse but are alot safer and user friendly to newbs. CRTs are a fickle beast.

The latter. Punisher's good but it has some flaws mainly the guarddroid fights and gun gimmick which get really tiresome on repeated playthroughs. Standing and mashing shoot really fast when fighting Bone Breaker makes the fight a slog. It's also too easy, and unlike Final Fight the two characters play almost exactly the same.
