Why are you seasoning it with all that shit if it's just for stir fry? Drop all the others except salt, pepper, and maybe lemon pepper. You're also probably overcooking it. It isn't steak or pork so you can't just eyeball it. Around 165 is where you want your chicken to be cooked. Put a lid over the pan to seal moisture.

Explored around town for 15 minutes. Atmosphere is nice. Would be good if all villagers had some generic dialogue. FPS isn't fantastic in town but it drops down to unplayable levels in the next level. There appears to be an absurdly large amount of model trees. I'm sure similar aesthetics could be achieved with a smaller number, or with sprite trees.

So I beat Quake, Blood, and Dusk (not retro I know). All the movement mechanics are similar in these games and I love them. Is there another game you guys can recommend with fast movement like this?

Try using tallow. Meat soaks it good (especially if the tallow kind matches the meat kind), becomes softer.
For chicken you could even go with, you know, tail parts, dunno how they are called. If you manage to get them in quantity, they are almost pure fat you can slowly melt out of them, then use that tallow for your chicken stir fry needs. Would probably cost you a bit tho.

The last time I played Guncaster was before some kind of black suit powerup was added. Back then the mod was also visually polished and had cool details like replacing the hand sprites appropriately when you equip the powersuit, adding in voiced lines into Hexen, and editing Cygnis into the ending screens of all IWAD episodes, which is a neat touch since the mod is about this character that was essentially personified Dragonforce.

Thing is, it's standard Pillowblaster fare, almost everything is intentionally very overpowered by Doom standards and it's up to the player to try and equalize that with varying results, plus there's tons of shit to use. Like Russian Overkill, it's fun to go through something a few times to shoot the shit but I wouldn't go running the mod a lot after that. In the way of updates, I assume the mod's progression style with buying spells and stuff is still made moot whenever death exits are a thing?

I am currently working on improving an old mod of mine, the Bowl O' Piranhas.
It's a fishbowl with piranhas you can either pour one by one or just throw the bowl and release them all, in consequence of which they will home in on enemies and chomp them. Check it out if you like.

Currently I am replacing all the old shitty sprites with new hi-res ones, which also enables me to do this nice idle animation. I am having trouble finding the right arms, though, as arms for throwing don't necessarily have the correct angle/perspective. I'll have to see what I can do there.
I also finished adding skeletons as xdeath for the enemies I presume have a human one in them.

Doom Minor Sprite Fixing Project: Is an essential for me, cleans up any spriting errors by id, and adds in the missing zombie rotations.
Perkristian’s HD sound pack: takes the original, uncompressed stock sounds and adds them into the game. I didn’t like the new death scream it had, so I removed it.
Widescreen HUDs: if you’re playing in 16:9, this will give you an aesthetically pleasing HUD, instead of the green brick background.
And here’s something a bit wild, Brightmaps Plus: Transforms the fullbright sprites of certain monsters into cool looking “glowing” sprites, but beware, some effects like glowing textures and eyes may make it easier to see enemies in the dark, so I removed certain ones to my liking.

Thou Art a Smite-Meister is the equivalent of UV, roughly. Black Plague Possesses Thee isn't exactly Nightmare, more like UV with fast monsters. It's definitely challenging, but a lot more fair.
If you want an extra edge to your future playthroughs of Heretic, try wand starting all levels on Black Plague.

Also, Hexen's highest difficulty is also basically a UV-fast of sorts, though that game's style and pacing are a lot different.

A_Weave doesn't really work and A_ChangeVelocity doesn't really do what I want, either. Trenchbroom is getting support for Quake 3 have only few months, if everything gets done in there, still have the other side of the bridge which is having to program the enemy AI and setup a Coop gamemode.

Also, honestly i'm not even sure if id Tech 3 netcode as is in Quake 3 can properly have Coop with full stability as it does in its original game modes, i know there are mods made for this like Entity Plus, but you can tell from how the mod works that is still running under the banner of the basic game modes.

Crispy Doom is nice for just the standard game, but it offers a bunch of nice optional things you can toggle as you please (double resolution, a crosshair, color fixes for caco's and baron's blood, etc, etc).

Dark Forces is honestly quite janky, I was playing it on hard, I dropped when oneshotting hitscanning faggots appeared, with their gun, when picked up, not even being able to shoot straight where tgere was height difference involved.
Also, oh yes numerous jumping puzzles in maps with no means to heal on them (falling damage goes past armor, as does melee damage as well). Oh yes, numerous secrets straight up unreachable due to mapping fuckups. Oh yes, milimeter-thin ledges in a game where you aren't even able to hug walls properly due to rounding mistakes. Oh yes, enemies spawing right behind your back. By the way, there are points with seemingly infinite spawns - including aforementioned hitscanners - too.
Did I mention the plot is "suddenly, TERMINATORS!11"? Well, it is.

Jedi Knight is basically a fixing job. Every damn issue I had with the original game is gone. They fucked up otherwise, by and large level design is quite simplistic, and some levels are interspersed with drops of no return, so it's not like one big level and more like seven bite-sized ones stitched together. Dropped it on the mission with falling ship, since I wasn't engaged enough to endure the amounts of bullshit that mission seemed to hint upon. Anyway, at the very least it's playable, although I am very much not a fan of some of its missions, like that one with rooftops and wind tunnels, that one was fairly horseshit.

Anyway, I have only played three missions of Mysteries of the Sith, got stuck in level 3 and somehow didn't pick it up again ( I absolutely should), but this one seemed to me a MAJOR step up in EVERYTHING mapping-related. I genuinely enjoyed what little I played, the only nitpick is that the visuals are significantly scrappier than in Jedi Knight proper, and I honestly preferred the latter.

Anyway, these were my three cents.

I dunno, I am not the fan of the game myself. But at least some of the chapters will look reasonably pretty (keep in mind that the second chapter, Unforeseen Consequences, is one of the most visually appealing in the game, when seen with the options set to what I recommended earlier - at least, until a certain point. So you just might want to start anew.

Several tips:
1) Provided you play on hard, before you get magnum, use basic pistol on the marines, it works much better on them than both modes of shotgun and primary mode of SMG - PROVIDED there is some distance between you and the enemy.
2) The game has alwaysrun always on, and glitchy implementation of crouching (basically for half a second the game treats you as floating in air and restricts your mobility). To put it shortly, crouch is NOT a substitute for walk button. Crouching from running will send you into slide. Keep that in mind when precision platforming and using cover.
3) In order to circumvent weapon selection menu while in combat, make active use of "Last Weapon" button. This is effectively a two-weapon limit.
4) Laser/Tau-gun can take on armored shit. There are sections in the game that get RADICALLY simplified if you keep that in mind.
5) Projectiles interact with portals, as well as jumpers, hitscan rays don't. Just remember this, word for word, as is.
6) Alien gun is broken as shit if you are of a patient kind.

Enemies are stronger and faster and have more intelligent AI, they can work together to fuck you up so a group of imps can end you pretty fast unless you take them out quicker. However, your guns are also more powerful and enemies have a 'fear' state caused by your actions, so for instance, if you run into a room with 10 imps in it, and you blow up a few of them with a rocket launcher, the remaining imps will lose their concentration and instead flee. You're basically rewarded for being a crazy motherfucker and soon encounters with shitloads of enemies become a breeze since your relentless slaughter scares the fucking shit out of the demons. It also adds nice particle effects to fireballs, which is something I didn't even know I wanted until I played it.

-Weapons fire is not blocked by monsters in death animations
-Ring of Shadows makes enemies less accurate in combat
-Vore missiles have a less-than-perfect turn rate
-Ogres are 'partially' Z-aware
-Zombie edge cases are fixed
-Armor protection is proportional to current quantity
-Nightmare skill is 50 max HP instead of turret-monsters

basically a vanilla+ mod for Quake
I'm going to give it a spin and report back

I always felt like the Doom '16 cyberdemon had a "mutated doomguy armor" idea to it, especially with all that green. It's the only cool thing I got out of it's look and I'm glad they're kind of doing that with the Eternal one.

Big Think Dimension/Gamer Premonition or whatever the fuck they call themselves again?
They also did like a podcast about this year's E3 and one brought up how Doom could have had a game about Doomguy vs heaven.
I kind of disagree with that one because of Sandy Petersan saying he's okay with shooting demons because they're cartoons and bad guys.
And i heard he didn't like a Jesus related texture being used on a floor, because that meant being stepped on or something.
Although i do wonder how old id would like the idea of Doomguy being a canon powerfull warrior considering Wolfenstein 3D had BJ killing Hitler and ended with a text that was like:
