There's a good change it'll have problems with Paper Mario, since it uses buffer a lot.

Hype level...: MAX. LOL!

Oh man, finally! My dusty old N64 was just taking up so much space and looked really bad on my huge flatscreen TV. Super happy that now we will have a full HD option for playing all of my cool old retro N64 game cartridges. My wife was always complaining about the N64 taking up shelf space (even though she LOVES the games - she is always kicking my behind at Mario Kart 64, LOL!), but I'm sure she'll be happy with this compact, nifty looking replacement.

Can't wait to see how gorgeous this will look outputting full HD to my awesome, huge HD TV... can you say 4 player Smash Bros. game night? So excited! ;)

People design "clone" hardware because it's easy as fuck and there are people willing to pay for it. If you'd been here more summers you'd know that what you're asking for has already been made and none of them did very well. It requires largely the same parts to make as a "clone" and most hipsters with money will choose the clone over the adapter. The only market for what you want is poorfag wannabe hipster emubabies, and they have no money so that's not really a market.
