There's a few ways to enable expansion sound on an nes but they all boil down to just patching it into the audio output with an appropriate resistor to equalize its level. It's not necessary with an everdrive though. I'm not sure what Famicom peripherals you'd want to use other than an FDS in case you don't want to use the everdrive's dicey fds emulation, there's an FDSstick doodad. If someone really really wanted to use the loom or the keyboard or various other weird peripherals there's probably a NES controller port to Famicom expansion port converter or there somewhere. You have to be actively looking to find the reverse (to use nes programs on Famicom) but it's probably out there.

>> No.5638251 [DELETED]

>>5638232
I mean they could have released games with expansion audio and included a little plug to pop in the expansion port on the bottom of the console that connected pins appropriately, such a little plug wouldn't have been expensive to produce. The idea is that the NES is far far more capable of expansion via that port, with many extra available pins in the cartridge port to be connected to theoretical hardware expansions that could then send their output back I to the console in a variety of ways it just never was put to any use not even for expansion audio.

The Fox and the Grapes is one of the Aesop's fables,[1] numbered 15 in the Perry Index.[2] The narration is concise and subsequent retellings have often been equally so. The story concerns a fox that tries to eat grapes from a vine but cannot reach them. Rather than admit defeat, he states they are undesirable. The expression "sour grapes" originated from this fable.

So what is out of your reach is undesirable?
Unironically a good philosophy, self—improvement has limits and life is meaningless.

But foxes have no concept of nihilism, and the grapes themselves are not tall, rather, the tree is.

The fox, not genetically predisposed to climb trees, not intelligent enough to build a ladder, curses his heritage. Why God? Why would you instill in me a desire for overcoming the impossible?
Why do you mock my existence so?

But some grapes have fallen down, been shaken off, by forces beyond our control. And so some foxes are lucky. And so their greed is rewarded through a nepotism of happenstance. Yes, some foxes are predestined to great wealth, and so their greed do not make them malcontent.

The grapes truly are sour, for in them exists all that is wrong with the world that a supposedly benevolent God created.

NES outputs composite instead of RF only like the famicom. You can also play famicom games on it just fine with a cheap adapter. At least use a picture of an AV Famicom next time.
Also the SNES can play Super Famicom games by snipping to little plastic tabs in the cartridge slot. The SFC would need to have it's cartridge slot hacked up to play SNES games.
