Played it when it came out. Too slow. Iirc it took like half a minute for guy to turn around and jump, and timing and hitbox was messed up.

It's a fun enough gridlocked platformer; not as elegant as Flashback or polished as Oddworld, but interesting if you like the subgenre. The original SNES version is as good as it gets, but if you can stomach the awkward mid-nineties pre-rendered visuals the 32X version has a bunch extra levels. Avoid the GBA port like an used uranium buttplug

I think Blizzard was philosophically incapable of releasing a game that did not include orcs or orc-like characters; even Lost Vikings and fucking Rock n Roll racing had one of those

I’ve played snes and 32x versions. Snes to me feels a tad snappier for control and character movement. I also prefer the snes ost. I like the 32x version has better inventory control w/ a 6 button pad though inventory takes up the whole right side of the screen. 32x beast wars style graphics have grown on me desu.

Good game, play the snes version.
