Arcades had to really get creative to save their dying industry. I mean it's cool and all and you can't bring that home with you unless you are a lotto winner but, how can a company make money unless each one of these type of games are a mega block buster type of game. The maintenance and cost of it alone wouldn't net an arcade a profit for a long time?

It's more of a ride than a game. The visuals and the movement don't match up. If you move the stick smoothly and don't try anything crazy it more or less works, maybe just with a bit too much lag on the cockpit moving.
But if you swing and pull and haul the motors don't have any hope of keeping up with you so it just starts swinging wildly and turning every which way, in no way matching the on-screen action.
The original R360 game, G-Loc had very short rounds because they knew people were going to lose their lunch over this.

Built my own in my garage. Just takes 4 linear actuators.
