There's a reason Nintendo and Rare put a warning inside the manual, they knew they are releasing a strongly occult tool that is unpredictable in its output. I won't tell you the details because you'll all laugh and point me to /x/ but believe me, every single cart of this life destructing powerful orb should be burned to ashes.

tl;dr Taboo The SIxth Sense is tarot simulator on an NES which actually holds a major occult and spiritual power

Okay so my about best friend was third key and this girl I went to high school with was assistant manager. A new store opened and my friend went from third key to assistant manager of that store but instead of making me third key at our store they rehired some dumb cunt they had fired and made her third key. She didn't know how to do anything, left herself logged into the registers while she sat on her ass in the back and a bunch of shit like that, so I was doing her job for her plus my job and giving less and less of a fuck every day. One day instead of talking to her to get my employee discount I just rung myself out for it on her register she had left open. She noticed it at the end of the day on the Z reading and reported it to the district manager so I got fired. The game I bought was Taboo and I absolutely should have just stolen it instead.

This game simply breaks all of Nintendo guidelines and family-friendly rules they frantically obeyed. Well if there's no occult involved then how the fuck did the most anal company in the world could overlook religious symbolism, occultism, nudity, sexual references, black magick and violence (for eg. the picture of Hanged Man).

AFAIK this is the only game on NES that was actually advised for kids over 14 y/o to play. I think all of them are like 3+/7+? Well they were generally targeted "for kids" while Taboo has a specific age limit.

I used to play this game on an emulator regularly, like to consult it for advice. It actually would be surprisingly specific and dead-on about issues and problems in my life.
Around this time I also started to read about the Goetic demons and stuff like that... I think that it is possible that one of them got attached to me and that it was somehow related to this game. I've had to go through some serious ups and downs since then and only recently have shaken loose of some of this stuff.
I think that I was perhaps spared from some of the more sinister aspects of this dabbling. Why? I don't know. But I definitely believe in God now, and I definitely know that demons etc are real, are not anything to mess around with.

This creepy story about the cursed game of Taboo agrees:

“When I was younger, I rented this game because I had seen it and I was curious about it. As I was playing it, I noticed that little devil or satyr faces with glowing red eyes would appear super imposed over the suns on the backs of the cards from time to time. Needless to say, this creeped me out immensely. Almost every time I asked the game a question, I would get a negative reading involving the Devil card and/or Death. I didn’t take any of it very seriously, though; after all, I was young and just shrugged it all off as a silly video game. Within the next few following months, my dog Tippy died, my parakeet died, and then the worst thing all happened my father died of lung cancer. My parents were split already and I lived with my father because my mother was deemed unfit due to her alcoholism. He was my best friend.

“Anyway, years passed and I never really blamed the game for any of those things because logically it is just silly to think that an 8-bit video game cartridge can cause someone to lose everything that they care about.

“I got married and moved out of town. I finally got a computer and Internet access and as a result I discovered emulation. (I did not have my NES anymore because I gave it to one of my best friends before I moved.)

“So I [played] the Taboo [game] to give the game another try. My wife thought it sounded cool, and we asked it a few questions. The Devil/satyr faces with their creepy red glowing eyes appeared again, and my wife saw them too.

“Needless to say, it creeped her out too. Again, I got negative readings. Over the course of the next few days, both me and my wife became terribly ill. She got over her illness quickly, but I had a fever of nearly 104 off and on for about five days straight. I was delirious with fever for a bit. I finally went to the doctor and I was told that I had an unidentifiable flu-like illness. He prescribed me some strong antibiotics (the same kind that they give people who have contracted Anthrax), and he threatened to hospitalize me if my fever did not go down soon. I got better but the antibiotics caused me to have internal bleeding.

“Needless to say, I have never played the ‘game’ since this happened.

“I am not saying that I believe that Taboo was responsible for anything that happened in my life, but I do feel like it is not worth the risk to find out.

“Is anything really worth that?”

I have a healthy skepticism about a lot of things in this world, evil Nintendo games being one of them, but after speaking with him at length, I was convinced that he truly felt this way.

Taboo could call the attention of bad things on you. My mother did Tarot readings and had a Ouija board whose "spirit" was named "Alvin". Some nut she did a paid reading for creeped her out and that was the end of the business, and the board said something of a disturbing nature and she trashed it.

I hated sleeping near the Ouija board on a foldout couch at times.

Turning all this into a videogame...what could possibly go wrong?

Unless you grew up in the south where the satanic panic never really ended. I remember being a teen in the late 90's and early 00's and having classmates who thought Magic the Gathering was "satanic", and that bands like Slipknot and Rob Zombie were "devil music"... meanwhile I was sitting in the school library reading books about literal witchcraft, sipping vodka while listening to Inkubus Sukkubus on my headphones... and I also did tarot readings for some of my less close-minded classmates, so I guess it wasn't really THAT bad for me growing up, but there were definitely some kids who thought I was Darkness Incarnate...

>> No.5572680

The real redpill was that the christians were right about the satanic panic. (((They))) used that period to break down the moral fiber of the masses and it clearly worked. That's why all the shit that flies by today is accepted like the gender blurring agenda.

This explains why media was a certain way before and all the same things you knew and loved changed so drastically. It's cause they were never like that in the first place and were just following orders.
