If your idea of comfy involves no music, minimal sound effects, and insanely obtuse puzzles, here's one for you. There's a Japanese PS1 version that can switch to English if you want something that looks and sounds a little nicer.

The original design of this game predates the original Megami Tensei and came out roughly around the same time. You play as a wizard and summon demons and shit.
