I play without the overlays, that bright white effect is really cool.

I've seen them go on ebay a few times but the price is always too high for me, I'd love to pick one up someday for some of the awesome arcade ports.

And that CGR charm.

There was a Vectrex in a Blockbuster cabinet for five years for £20.

Then they stopped selling retro games and it was gone.

I had no idea what it was at the time, but it looked so damn cool.

I wish I had one, I'd place it right next to my computer. Then if I'm waiting for something to download, or waiting to be summoned in Dark Souls or anything like that, I could turn my head and play some Berzerk. Or any of the games, most of them look good.

Any vertrex demoscene out there? I found some amazing stuff for the speccy a while back. Norwegian iirc.

My dentist as a kid had a vectrex, blew my mind everytime. Loved it.

There are emulators for this, right? How does that work?

I finally got around to getting one of these last year. Love it, and it always gets some use when I've got friends visiting. Ended up buying a flashcart for it.
