I keep trying to fite sites hosting full retail DOS games but I can only seem to find sites hosting shareware versions. Any DOS game suggestions? Looking for Action and Platformer titles.

I meant Goodbye, Galaxy!

>Commander Keen in Goodbye, Galaxy (stylized as Goodbye, Galaxy!) is a two-part episodic side-scrolling platform video game developed by id Software and published by Apogee Software in 1991 for DOS. It consists of the fifth and sixth episodes of the Commander Keen series, though they are numbered as the fourth and fifth, as Commander Keen in Keen Dreams is outside of the main continuity.

>>5521519
good bye galaxy has the same artstyle as dreams though. Im curious what you prefer over keen 1( + 2 & 3 since its all the same engine, just diff 'episodes')? the gameplay is similar, but keen1 has aliens instead of veggies. Also, as mentioned, keen 1 has nice and clear boundaries for platforms. Id even go as far as to say keen 1 is to mario 1 what keen 4+ is to donkey kong 64

There are unofficial branches. A developer can't necessarily commit themselves to a project indefinitely, hence open source.

I'm just moderately dissappointed that the OG dosbox team hasn't made updates to it since mid-late 2010. I want Pentium 2 support, more user-friendly Gravis Ultrasound support, and CD-Rom Mounting that is overall less of a hassle. Ditto for better IPX emulation, Sound Man support, more stable Redbook audio support, and maybe even a drop-down menu interface of some kind.

Literally the only place left for fucking legit disk images. I got Dungeon Keeper II original UK retail on here, used a decrypter on the CD check and patched it to 1.51 on Windows 7. Game runs just fine with dgvoodoo2.

That site is the only resource for some disk images, as well as relevant patches, and unofficial patches all localized on one page that takes 2 seconds to translate to english.

8/10 highly recommended webpage.
