Yes, fifth gen is pretty shit, but was enjoyable at the time. Human perception is relative. Many of today's games will be viewed similarly. The medium will eventually mature enough to be enjoyed primarily by people instead of gamers.

Emulation is good enough where you can play most games minus 007, Tooie, and a few others well. A 64 is a good solution then.

No. That right is reserved for the Dreamcast. Dreamcast was ahead of its time, but due to a number of PR issues was pretty much ignored by its fan base. The N64 was a typical Nintendo product, and did as well as I would expect.

Whew lad, so much wrong with your post that I don't know where to start.

If you don't have your well taken care of childhood controllers, you might be too young for this board.

If you collect carts, you're an idiot, if you can't afford a flashcart maybe you need a job. Seriously you could start from scratch and have an "ultimate n64" setup for less than $200. Who can't save $200? If you can't anon, maybe you should be doing something productive instead of posting on a Nigerian basket weaving board.

Yes, and? Just because you named one example that's more expanse and has a supposedly lower supply and higher demand doesn't discredit anything about the fact N64 games in general are still cheap. That's like expecting every NES game to have a value of over 300 USD because Stadium Events exists or calling every Megadrive game expensive because games like Musyaa is an expensive game from that category.

The HD Banjo port is on the 360, not exactly a failure considering it's the 7th most successful console of all time. It's just backwards compatible on the X1, which has sold at least 40 million units in its own right, more than the N64 in its lifetime.

You can replace the stick in your 1st party N64 controller in 5 minutes with a 3 dollar replacement stick from eBay and it works 99 percent as well as an unused stock N64 controller there is a slight difference but you get used to it quickly.

Really, the only modern 'console' I have is a PC to play CRPGs and RTS games with, but antiXbox autism is always so dogmatic and pathetic. 95% of modern games are released across all systems (unless you're a manchild who wants to play mediocre nintedo rehashes) so I don't get why people even console war in theis day and age when the difference is a handful of games.

Take this fucking attitude back to /v/ you petulant manchild along with your cancerous anime pics.
