Yes, but at the cost of MSU-1 audio in SA-1 games. The regular SD2SNES also uses an out of production FPGA. SD2SNES doesn't have those drawbacks, allows for fully-functional save states, and turbo mode for SuperFX games, all at the same price as what the SD2SNES went for.

There's literally zero reason to not get a Pro.

Roughly everything.

I know what you want to say, but that's not the bar you should aim for. Otherwise you might as well post like "not time now, tomorrow maybe" in English as well. In this case in Japanese you want 時間がない、明日にしよう or something like that.

If you're a beginner it's fine to be shit. Many people don't even strive for production at all.

>>5478563

I said it back in 2011/2012 when I first remember people talking a lot about reddit, and I maintain it now: the biggest problem with reddit is still the karma/voting. I've been on forums with that stuff before, it always turns into either burying unpopular opinions or judging posts only by the post count of the account. It's total crap. Granted, 4chan has similar shit, but it isn't systemic but rather user-enforced. If you have an alternate take and can express it well, then you have a post, and nobody (short of mod power trip) can remove it. People can hide it, sure, but not everyone uses that function, and if you make it long and not just "lol ur shit buzzword buzzword" then people will still have to read the post to decide if it's worthy of hiding, and reading a post that's rational and reasonable can make people more understanding and less likely to just turn their brains off. Karma/voting systems allow enough people to vote that the post becomes intentionally obscured, without the individual user getting a chance to evaluate it.

tl;dr 4chan thread systems are not perfect by any means, but I maintain that they remain a better system in practice

sorry to go off-topic.

>>5478185
As for why you should sell them back, it's better for the whole community if you sell games back after you finish them. Once you have beaten the games, you don't necessarily have a reason to hold onto them unless you are going to play them a lot further. If you keep games but never play them, then they will just sit and collect dust, and other people who might want them will not be able to get them. It is important to consider that you are not the only person who wants to play that game, and that others have not beaten it yet, so if you sell the game back, then you help keep the supply of carts consistent, and prevent things like price increases on otherwise cheap games.

You need a TV that can handle NTSC video input. Easiest way to do that is to get an RGB SCART cable built for American SNES/SFCs and plug it into a TV that can handle 60Hz input, since NTSC and PAL RGB share the same color space.

It’ll break dithering effects that were intended to be used on RF or Composite video, but everything else will look crystal clear and vibrant.

How crazy do you want to get with your price point, since there's a lot of esoteric and sought-after hardware that never made it out of Japan.

If you're asking about SNES specifically, the hardware grails are fairly tame unless if you're getting into things like Satellaview or a Super Famicom Box, both of which would be irrelevant to the average SFC player.
