give an example of a game doing this... only example I recall now, and it's arguable is a non retro title from the final fantasy tactics series, where the PC says "don't refuge yourself in a fantasy because it's escapism"... oh 2 more: playing a long streak of hours on civ 3 , the advisers would say something such as: sleeping is for the weak. In DIablo II LoD the old lady from the Barb camp's final words to you before facing the last boss are: do it! finish the game!
