Ghost Babel is to Gameboy games like Watchmen was to comics. You want to recommend it, but at the same time you know that everything else after is going to be disappointing by comparison.

Personally, pic related is one of my favourites. Nice variety and catches the feel of the show pretty well

Solar Striker is a pretty legit shmup for GB. It's pretty cheap too.

Kirby's Pinball is fun too. Much more deep than it first appears.

CrystalIs is a fucking garbage port, and it's obvious you never played it before posting. Boss fights were not rebalanced for the severe decrease in resolution, making the game an.absolute nightmare to play

if you're into it, Harvest Moon GBC 1-3 are all good. 1 is mostly a port of the SNES game with some variations, 2 and 3 are entirely new.

IMO this game would be great fun even without the Link's Awakening link, but I'll admit I would have never tried it without the association.

lol i had one of those things. and remember at the time my sis thought the cord was broken because they were all squiggly so i came back to it all messed up and in a straight time. after that it was always a hassle to use the thing when playing games so id just squint in the dark at night or turn on the seat light in the car before my dad would yell at me. i remember my parents recorded a video of us driving while on vacation and i could hear myself screaming about my charmander evolving and going "wooooah, charmeleon...". good times
