Soul Blazer.

beat sd3 again. do it at least two more times to see all three end bosses or five more to see all the endings or any more times than that to see how it plays through with each character combo. if you're a total 'tist, you can even go as far as to beat it with every class combo. considering that each of the six characters has four possible end-stage classes, and there are twenty possible character combinations, that's a whole lotta replay value, even if the game is shamefully short.

i don't like Kevin and Hawk, so i don't wanna replay it to be honest.

Duran/Angela combo is best, you get a nice little love story and Angela has a special move where she flashes her ass

Aw. I like Hawk. He's not OP and he's not underwhelming. He's perfect, IMO.
But then, I really liked SD3.
Fair enough, though, if you dislike Hawk.

Well, you were thinking about Terranigma so lemme vote for that, then. It's a good game.

Terranigma for sure.

Terranigma. Depending on what you have been told about it (e.g. it being praised to heaven) you might wanna keep your expectations in check.
It has slow parts and some people find it boring at certain points, but pulling through to the end rewards you with a great payoff that's definitely worth it IMO.
Soul Blazer like another anon mentioned is also a good idea. Faster paced with addicting gameplay and less emphasis on story.
And while you're at it, check out Illusion of Gaia, too.
For both of the latter, I think you'll quickly know whether you like them enough to keep going, I'd say.

If you liked those then play Terranigma. They're all equally mediocre.

>Final Fantasy Adventure
It holds up well. My biggest complaint is the NPCs that join you manage to have really shitty AI. The game is kinda how Zelda 2 should have been with the stat management and RPG elements on top of an action game. Square was good at taking other ideas and focusing on the parts that made them good.
