I still have nightmares about this game.

What games do you still have nightmares about?

I feel you op, I never once thought a spider-man game could feature such slow, plodding gameplay. It was like a game where you played as a slug dressed up like spider-man. Literally worse than something early-era atari might have done.

The Amiga version is the biggest disappointment; not even any music.

I never managed to get after the sewers. I got to the next stage but i never could finish it, not because of dificulty but because of me beeing unable to solve the puzzle.

R2D2 is cute

when I was 10 I was obsessed with Mega Man X to the point where I had a nightmare about it. Sigma was using Launch Octopus to suck the brains out of people and absorb them as his own. LO got me and I saw like a gauge of Sigma's "brain level" increasing, and then I woke up.
A very Saturday morning cartoon premise, but there you go.

Recently I had one where I was standing on a burning floor while pins and needles dipped in hovered all around my body a millimeter from my skin. I knew that if I moved even a little the needles would kill me but the floor kept getting hotter and hotter until the pain in my feet was unbearable.

I always liked how you just kind of throw Spider-Man around like a floppy fucking sausage at everything. It's not exactly "good" but it's fun

I watched the longplay at x2 speed, it was still fucking slow

I don't still have nightmares about it, new shit to worry about in that department, but goddamn if Harvester didn't fuck me up. The whole fever dream aesthetic mixed with the desolate yet "everything's kinda fine" attitude of the town and its people, goddamn. The whole setting and theme. That was my worst nightmare. Still kinda is, it just doesn't bug me nearly as much after so many years.
