Muh N64 is peak zoomercore even though the PSX was the patrician Gen X system at the time

How revisionist can you get? Crystal Pepsi was never a "core soda", it was a flop from the start. G.I. Joe would probably be a better choice of toy than pet rocks, as the latter was more of a one and done novelty whereas Joe was something kids could collect, similarly to the other toys shown.

My brother is a zoomer and to him "retro" games mainly consist of stuff like crackdown 1 and brawl.

Its a joke. I'm early/core Millennial and I didn't even remember pogs existed until seeing this sort of image.

My zoomer cousin born in 98 likes PS2 era Capcom and Konami stuff. He likes horror survival games.

Is it really a mystery? Nintendo shit, mainstream JRPG's like Chrono Trigger, Megaman, Castlevania, other entry-level NES games, Doom thanks to the success of Doom 4 and some other obvious ones.

PSX was a millennial system. The people who have fond childhood memories of Crash bandicoot and Spyro were born late 80s-early 90s.

I was born 1985, I have fond childhood memories of Mario 64, Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, etc. all coming out before I was 13. I also have fond childhood memories of lots of genesis and snes games. I would have for 3rd gen as well but my parents didn't get them for me, I played them at other people's houses occasionally. If Super Mario 64 came out today I'd still play it and like it a lot.

Can we please just drop the whole zoomer/boomer bullshit, it's the dumbest thing ever.

Even 1985 is millennial
