I'd rather emulate SNES games on a laptop that's portable and has a crisp picture than hook up my SNES using RF and then having it take 5 minutes of fiddling with the cart to get it to work and then waiting for it to crash if the system gets jostled whatsoever. Also I'm not used to using d-pad only for games anymore, they hurt my thumb to move a character around like that anymore so I either use keyboard or a PS3 controller.

Gently pushing a stick right is much less thumb stress than having to hold a button down.

I don't like emulation, too, but if I have to I try to make everything as close to original as possible, i.e. using a similar controller and framerate.

Absolute state of zoomers, d-pads hurt their thumbs, but they'd rather use a PS3 controller.
