In Little Nemo Dream Master you can feed candy to different animals and put them to sleep. If you do this with a frog, it dies and you can wear its carcass as a suit, which grants you its abilities.

In Heretic you can turn (and turn others) into a chicken. In the sequel Hexen it's pigs, and in Hexen 2 it's Sheep.
