Didn't find another thread like this. Let's get one rolling. Forgot the name of that one game you used to play? Ask here, try to be as descriptive as possible. Also help other anons remember games.

I'll begin, RTS game for PC/DOS from the 90s. Looked and played like a straight Warcraft 2 clone, but is based on medieval Japan. I think it had a number in the title, like "7 realms" or something, but not 100% sure.

>> No.5221094

Don't know your OP, but I have a very generic one...
Mega Drive game, probably a fighter, but it may have been a beat em up, only thing I remember was a stage on a boat with some sailors (?) in the background

Oh, I got another one, thing is, I've never played the game and don't even know if it exists.

I read about it years ago, it was a game that had randomly generated music, this specific one was a computer game from the 80s and the music was in a jazz-like style, but I'll take any game with randomly generated music, curious of how many are there...

It was some playstation strategy/RPG hybrid but didn't play like FFT or Tactics Ogre and was a bit more open-ended. Can't remember what else about it, but there was a similar game on Saturn. Can't remember that name either. I have every Saturn game and every US PSX game, so I just need to root through.

Strategy Game. On the Sega Genesis. There is some town exploration and some battle sections. There is one section where you have to cross a bridge-like area, with a laser attacking everyone every so many turns, even its own team-mates.

So I played a demo once in a pc store in the late ninties. It was a PC game and it played like a sci-fi version of those desert strike games, so 2D graphics with a sort of isometric view. You flew a eldar tank like craft with in a jungle enviroment.
I think it was called something with fire or hell.

None of those seem correct.

Let's see. It was top-down. And you controlled a bunch of units. And you moved them across the battlefield to defeat the enemy units. I remember there being a circus level and some boat levels. I think you were trying to defeat some guy before he released an ancient evil god, Dark Dragon or something.

Not sure if retro but anyway.
3d 3rd person ARPG in Arabian or similar setting (I think) you play as a character with a sword, the sword is being held on the back when not fighting. Game has different moves you learn through the game. Some strong moves consume some resource represented as balls on the interface, some weaker ones consume as much balls as it regain from dealing damage (or just doesn't consume, I don't remember). One particular move I remember is jump (the character rolls over in the air) then attack as soon as he lands, which leads to arc slash. The timing for attack was pretty tight. The game is about as old as Blade of Darkness, maybe a bit younger. Not Arabian Nights, although color palette was very similar, and not Prince of Persia.

Ive been looking for this game for over 10 years.
Im pretty sure its for genesis.
its a side scroller that plays like gunstar heros + silhouette mirage but you are on skates. its anime style similar to those games. One of the earlier levels is a night-time city and the boss is a giant dinosaur or robot or something.

I might be mistaken and it might be silhouette mirage, but im pretty sure it was co-op and on skates. posting this pic because its the closest thing I know

I'm searching for a game I swore I saw being played on the Cinemassacre channel, it was a perspective similar to Toe Jam and Earl 1 for the Genesis/Mega Drive and it involved you casting spells I think on your enemies and truning them into some kind of fruit? It was zany and whacky and crazy and strange and all that and it looked like a genuine fun time but now I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Any help is appreciated.

Also I'm not sure if was a 32 bit game but it seemed too complex for 8 bit. Possible it was on the PS1 but I really don't know for sure.

Pretty sure it was on one of the following:
7800
Genesis/Sega CD
SNES
Turbo Graf 16/PC Engine
cd-I
3do
Jaguar
PS1
Possibly the FM Towns or the MSX or 68k

Some kind of educational activity center game for mac in the early 90s themed around aviation and airports. You had a wide selection of minigames to play revolving around various airport activities and as you completed them you unlocked printable paper airplane instructions.

>> No.5232485

A game where you explore and learn about the oceans. No its not Treasure Cove where you actually control a character. This is more of a slide show where you go from screen to screen and learn about things like you're at a museum or something. The art style was really realistic like its digitized photographs and not cartoony. In one part you're at the abyss and you use a flashlight to lighten up all those scary deep fish.

It was also on mac and on floppy disk not a CD rom. Maybe a CD rom version came later but after looking through every single educational mac game on wikipedia its not any of them.

monochrome green apple ][ educational game. number munchers frog thing, except he's running along the screen, and letters, numbers, and punctuation would scroll into the screen and you had to hit the right key to jump over them. Higher difficulties gave you less time to hit the key and threw in more out of the way keys.

>> No.5234967

This might be difficult as I don't really recall much of it, but it's somehow stuck in my memory.

I had the demo from these magazine discs, it's a PC game from early 2000's and that's mostly what I am kind of sure about. The game self was almost certainly a 3D game, I think it was either 1st or 3rd person view. Pretty sure you did control your own 1 character, at least innitially. The colors that I had in my mind associated with it is yellow/brown. I think what I played seemed like a desert? You could interact/fight with something like animals? Not sure whether they were something real or made up, maybe they were dinosaurs. I also think you could've swapped between items/weapons to use and maybe there were some special abilites, but that's really hazy and possibly misleading.

Anyway, I don't think it was a huge game, since I tried to search for it countless of times with no result, nor am I sure I would properly recognize it if I actually saw it, but I really want to find it eventually to get my peace of mind.
