The Doom general is like 60% of the activity of this dead board and it's a thread that could be easily held on /vg/ instead. Can we admit that /vr/ was a mistake? This board has no point anymore. It was okay in it's first few years but now there's nothing to talk about anymore. This is also instigating people to shitpost and bait more than ever and turn the board almost as shit as /v/ itself.

this board is good it just needs work. In my opinion we need to just instantly remove flame war bait threads where the OP is bashing Mario 64, OOT, MGS, Half Life etc.The doom threads are popular partly for positivity. We should just stop traffic on shitposts

Filter doomthreads. Much better. Anyway it’s nice that it’s slow, yeah the topics are repetative and zoomers are increasingly worse but it’s still the best place to talk about actual retro games. If 6th gen+ ever becomes allowed, god forbid, the flood gates will open. It’ll be intolerable. I’ll leave the site entirely and not give it a second thought.
