And not so much a suggestion of a good game (it's mediocre at the very best), but Resident Evil Gaiden is pretty cool as a tech demo for the Gameboy Color. The gameplay is fucking droll, and the story is retarded, even by Resident Evil standards, but the setting of a derelict and dilapidated cruise ship swarming with the living dead, combined with some really impressive graphics, sound, and (dynamic!) music, gives it a certain appeal.
It's one of those rare games where I'd suggest to just watch a let's play or longplay, because it's got a really cool surface, but isn't very fun to play.

Yeah, but do you see how much he hams up and chews the scenery? He clearly had a lot of fun acting (his performance as M. Bison being the silver lining to that movie) and he said he enjoyed the movie shoot because he got a lot of free time to spend with his kids.

It's a shame his last film wasn't something more grandiose, but it's still reasonably watchable (if in a guilty pleasure kind of way), and his appearance makes up for most of the flaws.
I don't think he was miserable, and I don't think he was wasted, he performed admirably, while a much less professional actor may have felt tempted to phone their performance in.

Apparently Raul was already too sick by that time and had to have his stunt double do the captures.

The arcade version is the one everyone refers to when talking about this game. It's kinda busted and janky but was among the first in the series to add shit like ex moves. It was made some American company called Incredible Technologies, with oversight from Capcom.

The console versions were developed by Capcom themselves and are basically Super Turbo but with digitized graphics.

Honestly, the hate for the movie is a bit exaggerated. Yes, it's stupid, and unfaithful, but it's also stupid in a funny way, and what it does get right, it nails (M. Bison, for instance).

I enjoy it in the way I enjoy a McDonald's cheeseburger, it's by no means anything remarkable or extravagant, the meat has little taste, the sandwich doesn't look even remotely as good as on the picture, however it didn't cost me much, didn't take long, and the combo of ketchup, 'mustard', cheese, and onion, along with that lone slice of pickle, does make it at least somewhat pleasing (along with the fries, when they're hot and fresh), and it does fill me up.
