Well, well, well /vr/, looks like your video games led to some severe violence.
John and Michael Miller were known for their obsession with EARLY FIRST-PERSON SHOOTER games. This had a significant impact on their altercation with their neighbor Aaron Howard, most notably their outrageous demeanor, how they almost perfectly imitated the characters in their games as they instinctively resorted to the use of firearms to blast away their opponent.
The Millers' favorite retro shooters were all DOS-ROMS: Duke Nukem', Castle Wolfenstein, Doom, and some Batman game. Apparently, Michael Miller was in an especially hostile mood that day because he was unable to beat the first level of this Batman game, leaving him so angry that he was just itching to shoot someone.

the FPS genre is pretty much for teenagers with anger issues and to-be school shooters.

Imagine how worse it would be if he was in shape. Running around, endlessly shooting people without getting tired. Just like in those games.

you are what you eat
another term for "eat" is consume
we also consume media
I'm not saying you'll become a psycho overnight after playing a violent video game, watching a horror movie, reading a disturbing book etc. but I believe consuming such things over a long period of time will have a negative influence
blurring the lines between reality and fantasy with escapism and roleplaying too much also isn't healthy imo

all things in moderation anons

That only applies to people that have a legitimate mental illness to being with. Fat weebs, incels and fedora tippers ara damaged from the beginning, games just happen to be what put them over the edge.

I pretty much exclusively play violent games because I'm training myself for the day I have to shoot a guy's head off for dumping shit in my yard. I know it's coming.
