That is one bad-ass Console TV. What goes on under it? Is it speakers and electronics or storage?

Pic related is my zenith 27" S-video TV from 2004. Photo is from a month ago, and the only thing that has changed is that I have boxes of OG Xbox shit all around as I work on removing the Wii-U, and trying to find a way to fit the Xbox under it. I think that my solution is replacing the PSX with a PSOne so it sits beside the N64....I don't have lots of space, but IF I can get the Xbox under the TV, I can get the Wii beside it. More space up top for peripherals is better than hiding them in the guts of the tv.

I bet it sounds incredible. I lost so much space under my console tv because of big ass speakers, and they sound amazing also. The stereo sound is outstanding. I don't know how they do it honestly, because this zenith is the best sounding tv I have ever owned. I am sure yours is bonkers also, and probably better sounding.

Nah man, it's a wic home built in 1982, it's sort of a ranch style, but in an "L" shape. Still has the original light fixtures and such. We have a similar floral couch upstairs, but it's more autumn colors that match the carpet. It's kind of tough to match furniture from that era and my wife and I aren't autistic about it, but we try to keep it semi period correct. Thanks for the kind words.

Over the last week I had to do some work to my OG xbox by replacing the clock capacitor and re-pasting the CPU cooler. Moved the Wii-U out and finally got some storage bins for controllers. These things are perfect, and "small" but still hold a shitload of stuff. ALL of my miscellaneous controllers and games fit into these perfectly, and in a way that makes sense based on use.

Protip: Buy Sterilite brand containers. They are made in the USA.

I am glad to finally have my "upper deck" back. I thought about getting a little mint dish for the effect, but my kids would empty it every time I filled it, so fuck em. The Wii-u moved to her LCD/Alienware setup....I am afraid it was a bad idea, because she can now just vegg out on the couch and game with the handheld.

I DON'T LIKE how the PSX is sitting out. There is no room for any more systems under the screen. I know I have just barely enough space to fit a PSone beside the N64, but then I would have to adjust the shelf and have to move the Wii (emulation machine) up beside the xbox. I don't own a PSOne, and if I got one, it would need to be chipped...and since I just replaced a dead GPU in my PC my fun money is gone for a while. Either way I cleaned up the mess of wires, and it looks much better in me and my wife's opinion. Hers is somewhat more important than mine.
