Current goals, progress, recent PBs, clears, scores, and all sorts of discussion related to the genre.

I want to clear at least the first loop with all six characters in Sengoku Ace, it's fun. I'm going to need to develop good strategies with the worst character, the wolf, such as ways to handle the boss rush in stage 5.

What happened? Got banned at /vg/?

Nothing, and no. Just want to discuss these here with those that don't post on /vg/.

But what about all the times you said you hated /vr/ and that you'd never ever come back here?
Any way you look at it, this smells like bait. How long until you start victimizing yourself because evil jarpigs are anti-skill and so on?
Anyway, haven't played a shmup in a while, but last time I was trying to get good at Xevious (arcade). Still suck, can't even finish the first loop. Enemies are too random for me to handle. Any tips?

I'm giving this another chance after some months.
No personal experience with Xevious to help you. That's one game I want to 1-ALL one of these days though. Did you like your time with it?

Why do you think you're the one who has to give the board a chance? You've proven to be a drama queen who plays victim and encourages cross-board shitposting wars.
I enjoy Xevious. Not the most awesome game I ever played, but I like its simplicity. As I said though, the RNG can get a bit too hectic later on.

Are you aware of Xevious 3D/G? Similar in style, but more fleshed out, while retaining the randomness.

Yeah but I never played it.
>>5111414
It's not that, I just would rather not have more crossboard drama.
If they want to get into kerfuffles with jrpg fans, they have a lot of generals at /vg/ for that.

2:21 This is a very cool trick you can do in Star Force, apparently only doable with a pear-shaped stick. You become invincible.
