Midway didn't make NBA Jam Extreme, for whatever reason Acclaim got the NBA Jam name since midway became a publisher, so that was all Acclaim that made NBA Jam Extreme and it sucked.

NBA Hangtime is the ONLY good basketball game ever. Obviously that is my opinion, but the N64 version was the closest to the arcade we could get.

Midway games were universal garbage. I'm so glad they went under. They didn't make a single good game.
Mortal Kombat was edgy shit that 9 year olds loved for the sole reason of violence but it had zero substance, the mechanics were terrible and the AI was move reading cheating shit.
Smash TV was a ripoff of robotron.
Gauntlet dark legacy is unplayable trash with incredibly bad controls and camera.
etc etc etc
Also their overuse of violence and digitised graphics dated them almost instantly.

I'd fucking kill for a new Gauntlet game in the vein of the early 3D ones. Dark Legacy on PS2 and Legends on DC were core parts of my co-op game nights with friends for years. I'd even take a straight port with netplay gladly.
