The nes v rsion is ass compared to the arcade game. You can even pr dict what the arremer will do if you know how to make him go down the floor.

NES arremers are easy to deal with by themselves because their swooping is easy you just back jump and attack, the problem is usually the annoying enemies alongside them. Arcade version has several patterns along with reacting to your inputs. The easiest way to beat them is to stand still and wait until they charge at you. If they were already flying and didn't shoot a fireball then you can get ready for them to shoot one as they're charging which can be dodged via a neutral jump, they will stop just before reaching you. There is nothing autistic about beating GnG. It's a very manageable game which you can 1cc in a week or two of relaxed play.
