I remember when I was ten my Dad came home with a Saturn and a shitton of games he bought from someone for $50. It was probably hot and sold quick for drug/booze money but whatever.

I still have that system and Mega Man 8 complete-in-box, but the disc is pretty scratched.

Sega especially though. They were known as the leader in sports and they fucked that up completely with the Saturn launch. They didn't even get a football title until Madden '97, which was absolute garbage on the Saturn. They didn't continue their hot major IPs. They didn't capitalize on RPG Mania. Sega of America didn't think western Saturn owners wanted 2D fighting games. On top of that, arcades were dying in the west in the mid to late 90's and other companies were taking note that gamers wanted their games to last a long time.
