Yokes aside, I think most people at the time wanted flight sims and by the time people wanted more arcadey things Ace Combat was a thing.

I've never actually played Pilotwings, though, so maybe I'll have to try it out...I was busy playing Air Warrior 2 or whateverthefuck MS Flight Simulator existed at the time.

I have mixed feelings about this game. It's a great game to chill out with, but it's unbearably slow and frustrating when I need to practice certain sections so I can clear the level.

I used to hate the SNES version, mainly the hang glider but I loved the n64. In fact, this cartridge was a random gift my mom gave me otherwise I'd never pick it for me myself due to my snes experience.
