>Shadowrun (I forget which one is better, Sega or SNES, they're different though)

I never really liked Bomberman or Castlevania, but others would consider them essential. Maybe Dr. Mario, Super Mario RPG, Super Punchout, Contra III (Alien Wars)

Other games like Mortal Kombat and Earthworm Jim were better for Sega Genesis.

Personally Earthbound is my favorite. My grandma bought it for me when it came out.

Mechwarrior and Super Battle Tank are a lot of fun on the SNES (especially the sequel to SBT, pretty good for a tank sim even compared to modern standards).
Never played Turn 'n Burn on the SNES but if the Gameboy game indicates anything then I'm not sure if I should try that because the latter wasn't that much fun even when I consider the limitations of the gameboy.
