Shining Force 2 <3

I'm new to the series and playing them in order. I'm at the cave of strength in Shining in the Darkness. So far it's alright, if a bit basic.

I want to like Holy Ark but that noise the enemies make when they die is like nails on a chalkboard.

they all have their pros and cons, i think in many ways shining force 3 gotta objectively the best though, its just that that we never officially got all the parts in the west so it always felt like playing just a third of a game

>SHF1 had the best art and character design in the series

>SHF2 felt like a huge adventure and the partially open world exploration made it more of an RPG. also some obvious gameplay improvements

>SHF CD was a nice combat gauntlet even though i missed the exploration aspect. it has the best balanced difficuty of the old force games
