The only four Famicom games I own (I have a "converter" adapter to play on a NTSC top loader).

Green one costed 90 bucks...but I figured paying 90 versus $350 for the USA version was the better deal.

I did the same with MUSHA for Genesis. Paid 100ish for the Mega Drive complete in perfect condition, versus several times that for the Genesis version.

Wanted a boxed copy that I could actually play, and the Mega Drive cover is better anyway.

But Genesis games (a console I never owned as a kid, had a SNES) I have to buy for whatever people are charging, which is usually not much, but in the case of games like MUSHA, is somewhat unreasonable.

I got really lucky on a lot of Genesis stuff like that. Apparently people just gave up on the console or didn't buy anything but Sonic, or something. Nobody I knew had Bloodlines or Hard Corps, or any of the Treasure stuff, etc. Those games seem to be genuinely scarce. My one regret is not buying any of the Splatterhouse games.

Game Boy (decent amount of games, lot of licensed crap though.
Game Boy Color (same deal, less games though).
SNES (few games, highlight is Super Mario World with the battery dead inside, but got a tool to open and change it.)
NES adapter for the SNES, only games are LOZ 1 and 2 and Snakes and Serpents CIB.
N64 (two games, Pokemon Stadium and Xena: Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate).

And that's it for retro games for now.
