Aside from X4 and my opinion changes randomly, but this is definitely one of the best Mega Man games. I'm hyped for 11 mainly because they seem to share similar qualities. Graphics being one of the biggest inspirations.

Mega Man 8 is underrated.
There was nothing wrong with the voicework during gameplay. Cutscenes are horrible, yes, but they can be skipped.
Yes, the game is pretty easy in comparison to previous entries, but easy does not mean bad.
The people who cry about Jump Jump Slide Slide need to git gud.

Do people actually like this game or is it just a contrarian thing? It's up there with MM5 as the only games in the series that i want to drop as soon as i start playing.

MM8 isn't bad but gameplay isn't as good as the rest of the classic series because the long ass animations make things untight. Even the MM11 devs admitted this and asid they wanted to make sure not to reproduce that mistake which is easy to make when you do something for a more powerful hardware.

Compared to most classic games, 8 is pretty easy, but it's still fun.

I'm happy I own the Saturn version for the extra stuff and the superior Tenguman track.

This is probably the best thing about MM8. You can do infinite jumps that way, too bad there aren't many places where it's actually useful.

X1 and X4 are my favorites. They're the essence of X games, no bullshit, no 'innovations' to shake up the formula. The only problem with X4 is it's too easy.

I did play it on the original playstation. Still couldn't beat it as a kid. Most annoying stage with the most annoying gimmick boss right after it.

I have one, and only one, problem with Kirby's Adventure: Kirby spends 95% of the game an ugly shade of peach. I really wish there were abilities with color variations, like ice.
