What are some of the all-time prettiest Genesis/MD games? They don't even have to be "good" games, just pretty.

I have always liked Ranger X and Comix Zone, myself.

Mr. Nutz looks even better on the SNES (slightly different prettier backgrounds and palettes + mode 7 animations), but is missing the extra music and passwords. It has the easier JP port too.
The GBA version is the most feature complete (restored deleted levels) but is shitty. (Euro devs did a lot of restored versions on the GBA, I wish the completed but unreleased Aero the Acrobat 2 port would leak some day)

Yet despite all of this, I still prefer the genny version.

>It looks like mock up of an artist who doesn't understand the limits of actual retro consoles, but it's an actual game.
Ironically, what it actually demonstrates is how all the other artists didn't understand the capabilities of the console or how to make proper use of them.

Seeing these all together really makes me realize how devs loved to try and make everything on the MD edgy and dark. Maybe they thought that would make everything seem mysterious or intense.
