BRfag here. You can still fucking buy Master System to this day, with 100+ games built in. Not shitty clones, they are endorsed by Sega.

The versions of Double Dragon and Ghoul's and Ghosts are quite better than the NES. Most of Alex Kidd's games are good. There's some really technically impressive shit, like Asterix. Also, Phantasy Star.

I do use ebay a shit ton. I could set up and sell them if there's enough interest. There's also some other stuff that's fairly common here that americans consider it rarer, like the gameboy color metal gear game. I can get a few of those sealed in box for a great price.

Sega and Brazil always had a very strong relationship. All of their hardware from the MS to the Dreamcast had official brazilian releases.The Master System sold extremely well over here, and people loved it. To the point where the sales remained steady after many years, so Sega let TecToy, the brazilian company responsible for their hardware here to keep making it. Hell, last year I managed to find a Sega CD new in box on a store that used to sell 'em back in the day, as they were clearing their forgotten stock or some shit. Too bad there was no 32x.
They are still made here, though the current ones don't have all the features and great build quality of a few years back, since the sales are very slow now.

Slightly off-topic, but I don't wanna create a brand new thread just to ask this one question. Regarding the Mega Drive Mini that will be released soon™, any news on what's the games list? Googling tells me no definitive list yet, but I figured I'd ask here too to confirm.

Outrun, Great Football, Wanted*, The Ninja, Ninja Gaiden, Submarine Attack, Shinobi and Master of Darkness come to mind immediately. I'd actually recommend against both Gauntlet and Double Dragon. I think both are quite poopy and I don't really get what people see in them. Maybe they're better on SMS than on other platforms, but they're still not good. Also consider >>4991121 those Tectoy Master Systems can be p. good. I saw one once and it had probably the best quality 3rd party "pirate" controllers I've seen. Leaps beyond those shitty 6button genny controllers you see a lot.
