Just picked this up. It's pretty fun so far. Started playing as Nadia on hard and am having trouble with the first boss, a big tentacley sewer creature. Should I stick with it or switch difficulty (or maybe character)? How does this version compare to PS1?

Never played the N64 version however I've heard it had improved controls over the PS1 one. How is the soundtrack for the N64 port OP? If I'm gonna be honest with you Nightmare Creatures was one of those games where I adored everything but the gameplay, the atmosphere was incredible and the soundtrack greatly added to that.

I'm pretty sure that sewer level is exclusive to N64. I think N64 version is harder, but PS1 version might have better graphics.

Nightmare Creatures 2 was bad.

2 drives me nuts because it improved on a lot of the gameplay flaws the original had but then just totally drops the fucking ball on the atmosphere which was the best part of 1.
