Looking for some retro dating sim/adventure titles on consoles, preferably in English. So far I have played Thousand Arms and really enjoyed that. Where next, /vr/ bros?

Doukyuusei series is the best hentai dating sim series. Not in English.

Seriously, what dating sims actually have a translation? I don't care if you play as a girl dating guys or a weird izard furry, if it's an actual dating sim with stats and time managent I'll try it out. The problem with online lists is that they always seem written by some idiot who includes VNs.

Only one I've played is TokiMemo Girls' Side, and aside from pretty amateur art it was really fuckin' addictive and fun.

Seriously, what dating sims actually have a translation? The only legit datins sim I've played is TokiMemo Girls' Side, and despite some pretty amateur art it was really fucking addictive and fun.

Jeez, that brings me back. Playing Newgrounds games on a 56k connection, downloading them to run offline and hoping everything worked...
Even as a teen I thought they were too edgy with the insane characters and girls who were literal drug dealers, I remember Galaxy Angel being particularly weird like this.

Despite their memetic status in otaku media, there really aren't a lot of games in the TokiMemo school simulation style, let alone people interested in translating them.

Welcome to Pia Carrot on the PC-FX has a full translation and has stats/time management, you have to balance essentially doing every job in a restaurant with spending time with the girls there. It's pretty fun.

I feel like the genre lived and died on PS1. There's around two dozen titles on there.

simgirl has absolutely horrid art, you can tell exactly which images are blatant copies(like that one) and which ones are original(as in how to draw manga quality)

Nah, there's hardly anything like Tokimemo on PC98. Besides True Love that's already been mentioned, and elf's Kakyuusei (which lacks most of what makes Tokimemo Tokimemo), and maybe Houkago Ren'ai Club if you want to count that as a sim...what else even is there? Pia Carrot, I guess, if we really want to be generous.

We're talking about romance-focused games with Tokimemo-like stats & time management. Not novel games, not adventure games (as much as I love Doukyuusei, it's nothing like the Tokimemo-clone genre), not character-raising sims (>>4906075 looks fun, but it's not a romance game).

Whereas PS has many titles like Twin's Story, Bloody Bride, Zutto Issho, Mitsumete Knight, Yuuwaku Office, Hatsukoi Valentine, Yume Nijiiro etc. that have very Tokimemo-style systems where you raise your player-character's stats within a time limit and schedule dates on a calendar. (Not to mention Tokimemo 2 itself was a PS exclusive.)
And if we're counting things like Kakyuusei on PC-98, then we'll also have to count things like Dream Generation and Hoshi no Oka Gakuen Monogatori on PS that are further away but still somewhat Tokimemo-ish.

Saturn shares some ports/multiplats in the genre with Playstation but Playstation has more titles.

Very good. I dont know japanese but im a weeb so i played it with my only guide being the TV tropes page and the gamefaqs forums.
The MC is basically a player stand in, he doesnt even has any dialogue outside the choices you make. You can also literally tell all the girls to fuck off and just focus on becoming the best mercenary in the kingdom (But that would make the game empty).
The gameplay parts are very straighforward and not that hard unless you neglected your stats, the part where you have to manage some troops use a FE style method but with mages being OP (But they are only available if your magic stat is high).
The dating part is pretty simple with just asking a girl out on weekends and doing the jobs tied to them, game is pretty easy to grasp since after a date you can tell a girl reception of it and just load a save.
Game has missable events though, i managed to get almost all girls endings witouth seeing some rather serious events that would make you think would lock me of their endings but they didnt so as long as their affection for you is high you will always end with a girl.
I say its worth a shot.
There are a lot of background in the setting and some upsettling twists in the game, game is lighthearted for the most part but it can get really serious if you dig deep enough.

Best girl was the manly horse girl btw.
