+1 to Cosmic Smash. Also: Rez, Ikaruga, Mars Matrix, Soul Calibur, Dead Or Alive 2 (japanese version), and all kinds of 2-D fighting games you can put your hands on.

the steam jet set radio and sonic adventure (after the dreamcast mod and others for better controller support (by default the joystick outputs digital as if you are fucking using a dpad its awful you NEED that mod)) are better. im going to assume the shenmue port is better too because of how satisfied i am with sega ports in general but ive not been very interested in the game myself to research. just mentioning, obviously they are still going to be good on original hardware. but i am imagining playing jet set radio without a way to manipulate camera with the only option being trigger and it sounds frustrating. not dreamcast but i also recommend the nights into dreams steam port
