Not cabbage pants, but if the monitor was actually flush and the sticks/buttons not laid out so badly, it would be decent. Having the ability to get mame and related hardware working doesn't mean you have decent design sense. It would basically take a huge amount of work to make it look good, but you could do so with that table if whoever made it hadn't butchered it so badly.
