I liked it a lot. I never could figure out how to make the skeleton do his nuke attack. I assume it was timed.

My favorite part was playing the arena mode where you could be a baby or the old man with the cough attack.

HAN's style looks very different and jarring even for anime fans. The proportions in Guardian heroes are utterly bonkers, and his other work definitely steers more toward being cartoon-ish and wacky than the semi-realistic style that's popular today.

That said, I quite like it. It has a lot of personality.

It's kind of a slog going through in single player, but with friends it makes for an awesome party game. Especially with the arena.

Fucking fantatic, hella fun to play and replay.

I once held a roulette fighting game tournament where ever round was a different game, final round was a 3v3 clusterfuck in this game's vs. mode with everyone picking brokeass boss characters except one dude who picked the old man. Many laughs were had.

Extremely mediocre brawler that's only popular because a) RPG elements aka tacked HP and stats, and b) Multiplayer. It's an absolute chore in singleplayer.
It is the most overrated Saturn game by far.
