I finally saved up enough to get a power source for the J-Win98SE build I want to do. I am getting closer, all I need are cables, hard drives, SATA to IDE converters, and a case which will take some time to save up to get by mid-2019.

I got the not/vr/ game within the last couple months too. The other two games are to keep it /vr/ as they are the last two I got for each system. It is hard to find a good under $20USD Saturn game I want but don't have, so I am thinking I may celebrate by spending a bit more as I only just realized I am one shy of 300.

No, I cannot afford Battle Garegga to complete my trinity of best EA games on the Saturn. I only learned of the game due to the demo on the reprint Terra Driver. I'm thinking of something more modest but still fun to play on the Saturn.

I actually like it, but I have bad taste in games. I actually do enjoy mediocre games. The characters are pretty cool to me, like DOA with its Dennis Rodman muai thai and women grappler characters, the edgy characters in Kakuto Chojin appeals to me but I lived through that time when edgyness was the thing. Controls alright but a little loose. With the silly end of round matrix camera, my friends and I would try to use the dumbest moves to end the round for maximum hilarity, but that was in the short burst we played the game, I am not sure if it would hold up for a long play session. I hope to get an Xbox One X one day so I can play it with improved graphical effects/resolution.

The Xbox 360 has a version that I think is pretty accurate. Not sure if its sold on XBLA anymore but there's a physical version you can get.

The DS also has a more accurate version but I've never played it.

Picked up a few KoF games and Rent a Hero for cheap. Dodonpachi Resurrection isn't retro but whatever. It's fun.

I just ask them if they have any oldschool retro games in their closet/attic/basement they have forgotten about. Chances are either "yes, let me go get them for you." or "No we don't have any." What happens if you get a "yes" is what I bought in that picture. Try it out. It's a very good technique. Don't just assume that what's on the table is all. Picked up an arcade stick for my Saturn. Can't play games without the proper peripheral. Stick is a little lose, though, which makes it weird to handle, I'll have to look up how to fix that.

I cannot give any higher accolades to the Everdrive 2.5 or 3.0....what a great piece of hardware. It is quite literally the only "game" device you would need. Any other purchase of games is just for show. I think that the prices have come down a bit since I got mine. Do yourself a favor and look into it.

Just imported this. It's not CIB since it's missing the plastic cart tray and some other stuff, but it has the cart and manual inside. Considering I got it for the price of a loose cart I'm not complaining.
