The Metal Slugs and Aero Fighters are good but the rest of those are mediocre - Magician Lord is utter garbage. Sengoku 1 and 2 are mediocre especially compared to 3 etc.

Load times for most games (excluding fighting games) are extremely short on CDZ.

Music is amazing. Especially Last Resort CD :D

CDZ is notorious for overheating problems, and cart-based consoles have an inherent longevity advantage due to fewer moving parts to wear down.

That said, if you do go for a NGCD, CDZ is the only SKU worth bothering with.

Terrible way to play Neo Geo games. Completly missing some of the best later neo-geo games (Mark of the Wolves, Sam Shodown 5/5 Special, KOF 2002). Why would anyone pay for this in 2018 when the thing is likely to break down soon and MAME emulation is near-perfect?
