One of my absolute favorite games as a kid. Like an idiot, I sold it off when I was 12 or so because I was convinced I outgrew it. I did get a new copy a few years ago though.

I played the first one quite extensively as a kid. I never played the second one. I mean I have every NES ROM and yes I've tried it but really never made it past the first level.

I do not. I think by then the SNES was the focus and I didn't care to try the sequel. The original game was great, and lived up to the hype seen in Nintendo Power for me.

In those days I thought the show was in a block that couldn't compete with the other shows it ran with. First was Gummi Bears and Ducktales, and Talespin followed it. I think the only reason it got is viewership was solely because of the appeal of that character and nothing else. Story and setting were better on the other 3 shows it ran with, eventually getting bumped to the Gummi Bears slot where no one sees it, to tack on Darkwing Duck instead.

I remember A Chip n Dale game, on the Famicom? I don't think OP's video is it though, in this one we picked up and dropped boxes and can drop them on each other. Friendly fire always leads to the most fun times.

There was Mr Toad's Wild Ride, which might have turned into Winnie the Pooh or Snow White, but I think Snow White is also old as fuck...they're all those ancient haunted house style rides that just go through a building while you look at shit.

I never said it was...I was saying they turned Mr Toad's Wild Ride into Winnie the Pooh or Snow White, but since I'm pretty sure the Snow White ride has been there a very long time as well, it was probably Winnie the Pooh...they did update the Snow White ride, though.

Okay, played it now. The controls and the physics, as far as there is physics, were pretty faithful to the original, but there is a lot of missing features (like no Zipper) and more slowdown than in the NES version even on a relatively fast PC. I want back to replay the NES original and it played better. The biggest problem with this game is, really, that its first level is by far the best and also the hardest. It's all downhill from there.
