What is the most unique and obscure game you have played?

>> No.4752361

Probably some stuff I burned from the Japanese DC library, didn’t really like it but it was freaky. Do you know moon OP?

Probably Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic. Obscure Famicom game that eventually became the US version of SMB2

There was some dos game I played where you pilot a helicopter and kill Africans who are infected with ebola.

Desert Strike?

>> No.4752507

>>4752504
No. The game is literally about killing people in Africa who have ebola.

Wow. Doki doki panic is the same game as SMB2!? Who would've guessed!? Do you happen to live under a rock?

Probably Furaiki on PS1. It was basically a travel/tourism ad in game form for the Hokkaido region, with an animu VN worked into the equation.

That or Kurohime Mahou Tsukai. Based off some failed shonen manga in the mid 00’s, it’s basically bayonetta before bayonetta existed.

Found out what the game was called. Ebola Civilian Assault. It's not good but kinda worth trying just for experiencing such an absurd concept.

probably not that obscure for people who own the system, but I'd say in general it's pretty unique.

I remember finding this dos space shooter game in the early 2000s on a shitty abandonware site done by someone that maybe knew how to format text and place links in html but not much more. The game was obviously inspired by the bombing run on the deathstar because that was every level with more enemies and obstacles. Everything was black with the dos green making outlines for objects. You could only move horizontally and shoot, nothing else. It was garbage but very challenging, 3 deaths put you at the beginning. I never got past level 6. Then I got some bootleg copies of Doom, Duke and Wolfenstein from my mom's coworker's husband and never played it again

X for the Game Boy. I wouldn't say it's particularly good or unique, but I had some fun with it.
