Why have the latest Flavor of the Month controller when you can have it with COLORS?

>> No.4724719

Are these actually any good as stand-ins for original controllers, or are they memes?

It's a shame they went with the transparent meme controllers before solid colors. All I really wanted was a solid red one.

If all you have are controllers with sticks that are shot, they're the best cost effective option.

it's stupid to replace the whole stick, just replace the plastic parts inside and grease it up with lithium to prevent future wear. you can find parts everywhere

I have practically new n64 controllors with perfect sticks and I still prefer the retro brawler. Makes going back to n64 games a lot more palatable.

Did you replaced it with the Kitsch-Bent ones??

You need to wide the hole of the bowl so the gears will run faster.

I remember to see a user complaining about that and how he has fixed it.

I've found this tip at here: https://amp.reddit.com/r/n64/comments/6w1wio/pt_two_review_of_kitsch_bent_replacement/

>> No.4728946

You faggots better emulate the controllers instead of using real hardware.
Only retards use real hardware.
By using Paint you even can draw your personally customized controller which fits you perfectly. All with emulation!!!

Yes, but only the gears. The other parts are still worn out. I can't get the full range of the stick unless I hold it like the girls here.

Rumble pak works, Transfer pak doesn't. Would've been a miracle if the Transfer pak had worked anyway, even a HORI mini doesn't play well with Transfer paks.

The controller is incredibly cheap feeling. It's too small in the hands. The rumble pak slot doesn't fit right so your fingers are always hitting it and can't comfortably wrap around the controller because this original shell design was not for N64, they made it for a NES pad. The sensitivity is way off and doesn't match the original and the octagonal gate isn't the same dimensions/ratio as the original N64 so certain types of movements are limited when you get locked into place due to the gate.

Overall, the analog stick and buttons feel okay, but that's it. The triggers and shoulder buttons are INCREDIBLY fucking cheap and feel horrible to use. My controller also quit working and doesn't accept an N64 extension cable anymore either, so you have no room to work with. It was good for a few hours and then started intermittently disconnecting. I can almost guarantee the kind of people that kickstarted this don't play many games or use their N64 very often.

But what takes the cake for me is that my N64 shut off while using it and wouldn't turn back on with it plugged in. No shit.

I had to unplug it and unplug the whole console and let it sit before it would turn back on. I'm not sure what the fuck happened there, but it's never happened before I plugged in that controller and hasn't happened since I quit using it.

>> No.4736286

Hi, despite some negative reviews I bought [N64 CONTROLLER] and it was all I was looking for, I've never had such a good experience with other [N64 CONTROLLERS]. I think everyone should buy this product.
